The San Francisco Film Centre offers a unique room for film and video screenings.

The Screening Room, with tiered rows, provides unobstructed seating for up to 24 people in large, comfortable arm-chairs. It is ideal for dailies for a small crew or a feature presentation, and the perfect place for an intimate film party! A professional projectionist is provided.

Reservations for the Screening Room are for a minimum of two hours.



State-of-the-art, the Screening Room is equipped with:

• Two (2) Simplex 1014 35mm film projectors with Strong Super Lume-X lamphouses, capable of forward and reverse at variable speeds and aspect ratios of 1.33, 1.66, 1.85 and 2.35
• Dual system magnetic readers with both 4- and 6-track interlocking capabilities and changeovers
• Dolby A, SR, and Digital Stereo presentation using 5-channel JBL speakers
• DVD and VHS video playback (Betacam and Digital Betacam playback can be accommodated if equipment is supplied.)
• CD player
• 6-foot by 11-foot screen
